Swag Baggers (Giveaway!!)
the swag bags for my party were cool. they were stuffed with lots of goodies. BUT, the bags for the lucky 10 brides were even BETTER.
let’s see, what do we have here…
- a map of washington, d.c. from swoon over it. this map is adorable and totally frame-able. swoon over it created it just for my party!
- work-out head bands, pony tail holders and lip balm from elite lacrosse and field hockey company STX. (such a huge score!) key for getting the bride-bod into shape!
- a small cosmetic bag from the sweet sugar beet. so sugary sweet!
- a pair of sassy decorative bra straps from strappys.
- a few thank you note cards from caral david design. you’ll be needing tons of these for all the wedding presents!
- mints from get married and the silken thread. who doesn’t need fresh breath?
- a super-duper discount from canditto. the first to call and book this wedding guest picture taker only pays $50. that’s right, 50 bucks!
- a magnet and discount from entiise lingerie.
- fantabulous lip balm from dawn easter events.
- and the real kicker…an amazing clutch from beegee bags. girls, this bag is so adorable, i’m having a hard time parting with it!
lucky for some bride, i have one extra bag…and i’m giving it away! to enter, go to my website at www.juliannesmith.com. browse the new wedding garter collection and leave a comment below with your favorite garter from the new collection, why and your wedding date. the winner will get the swag bag!
you can enter once per day and i’ll choose the winner at random. the shipping address for the winner must be in the u.s. hurry, hurry – contest ends june 3nd at midnight.
super special thanks to the donation crew – you all are an amazing bunch of vendors! it is really was an unreal gift bag for all the brides who came to my party (and the one lucky bride who will win one)! thank you to my go-to girl michelle and her team at herpresign for gathering the goods and putting these babies together.

My daughter is getting married on June 29th and Garter style #321 would be so perfect for her.
I know that she would so love this.
Thank you so much for the chance to win.Posted by: Jill Myrick · June 3, 2009 at 11:39 pm

My favorite is #317 – the pink & white polka dot grosgrain with lime green satin bow.
My fiance and I are having a Spanish themed wedding and I have lime green with white polka dot heels to peek out under my white dress. The shoes remind me of a flamenco dancer’s outfit. This garter goes great with my outfit because it subtley picks up the lime green in my heels and, as well, the polka dots are also picked up but in a soft, flirty way instead of a matchy-matchy way.
Oops, forgot to add my wedding date is 6/14/2010

Well I am coming up on my 10 year anniversary (July 10th) so I am not a new bride but I was a bride once! My favorite design is style 318, I love the colors and wish I knew such cute garters were around when I needed one.

I like the simplicity and playfulness of style 324 – white grosgrain with blue & white polka dot satin bow. The polka dots and bow are just right!

I love the color combination of the silver satin with sage & white polka dot grosgrain stripe with light blue satin bow.
My wedding date was scheduled for October 2, 2010 (I call it ten two ten), but with all the financial hardships, this date is questionable.

I adore the style 216! The stripes are so fun + fresh, not drab or old fashioned at all!

I absolutely love style 324. This is such a fabosh design! I love how preppy it is, but still sexy. I am sure my fiance would go ga-ga seeing me in this! My wedding date is 6-20 and i still dont have a garter! I am really looking for THE ONE! I spent so much time finding the perfect gown, the perfect shoes, jewelry, hairstyle, etc……i must find the perfect garter belt to match!

I like the 212 match of colors. It’s not the typical garter color combo, more like pretty candy, but it’s soothing and it appeals to me. 10/11/09. The one I like least is the plain white one. I guess it’s white for pure bride, but it’s not a fun color.

I really like the simple and traditional syles, like the white with the ivory bow. My dress is ivory and I think that one would be perfect for my August 22nd wedding.

My favorite is style 212! My wedding colors are plum, lavender, and champagne, so the orchid color fits perfectly. My date is TBD.
