Custom Orders
The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith specializes in custom designs. Visit the custom gallery for more information. Custom designs take one month to produce. Rush orders and shorter productions times are available. A production schedule will be discussed prior to placing your order. Payment is due prior to production. Payment is accepted via Paypal and personal check. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on custom orders. Every attempt will be made to discuss your custom design with you prior to payment and production. Once a custom wedding garter design is completed, a picture will be sent for approval prior to shipping.

To purchase a wedding garter from The Garter Girl’s collection, click “Add Garter to Bag” on each product page. Orders for sale or discounted wedding garters can be placed by visiting The Garter Girl’s page on Etsy.com. Orders for custom designs can be placed by e-mailing info@thegartergirl.com. Payment for all orders is handled online via Paypal or personal check. Please visit the Payment section for more information.

Payment
All payments to The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith must be received in full prior to the production and shipping of garter orders. Payment is accepted online via Paypal and personal check. Checks should be made payable to “Julianne Smith.” If paying with check, please e-mail info@thegartergirl.com for shipping information. A $50.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Privacy
The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith values and respects your personal information and will not share your information with anyone.

Product Care
All stylish wedding garter purchased from The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith come with a keepsake bag to save and protect your garter before and after the wedding. All wedding garters are hand-made by Julianne and thus delicate. Please take great care when handling your garter. Gentle spot cleaning with cold water is recommended for all wedding garters, unless otherwise instructed. Wedding garters can also be soaked in cold water and laid flat to dry. Garters with feathers, flowers or rosettes should not be soaked. If extremely soiled, a small amount of delicate laundry detergent, such as Woolite, can be mixed into a cold water bath or dabbed on as a spot treatment. Before putting your garter away in the keepsake bag for long-term saving, please be sure to carefully clean and fully air-dry your garter, helping to preserve it. Production
All stylish wedding garters from the collection are made-to-order and take about 3 weeks to hand-produce by Julianne. Custom wedding garters take one month to produce. Sale/discount garters sold on Julianne’s Etsy page are already made and ready to ship out each Monday. Once the wedding garter order is shipped, the purchaser will be notified via the email address used to purchase the garter. Please visit the Shipping section for more information.

Quality Assurance
The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith’s stylish wedding garters are hand-made in the United States by Julianne using high quality materials that are also made in the United States (when possible). Each wedding garter is carefully hand-crafted to order for every customer with special care taken to ensure that the garter will last through the wedding day and beyond. Hand made items are delicate, however, and special care should be taken when handling the wedding garter. Also, certain materials, such as elastic and feathers, have a limited lifespan, regardless of construction, and might need to be replaced after long periods of time. If anything should happen to your wedding garter, Julianne will gladly fix or replace your item. E-mail info@thegartergirl.com with any issues, problems or questions.

Returns
If you are unhappy with your stylish wedding garter purchase, returns or exchanges will be accepted on unused items within 30 days of purchase. Returns and/or exchanges will not be accepted on custom designs orders. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Rush Orders
Rush orders and shipping are available for additional fees. Production take three weeks for collection garters and one month for custom orders. Shipping is an additional 2-3 days days. If you need your stylish wedding garter sooner, The Garter Girl will be happy to work with you to handle your rush request. You can also purchase your garter selection with the “Rush” shipping option to receive your garter in one week or 5 business days. The rush shipping selection is only for domestic U.S. orders. Saving / Protecting Your Garter
All stylish wedding garters purchased from The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith come with a hand-made keepsake bag to protect your garter before and after the wedding. This small cotton bag protects your garter over time so that it can be shared as a wedding heirloom. Before putting your garter away for saving, be sure to carefully clean it and remove and soil or stains to ensure it will hold up over time. Visit the Product Care section for more information on how to clean your stylish wedding garter.

Shipping
Shipping time is in addition to production time. Please allow three weeks for collection garters and one month for custom designs on the production of your stylish wedding garter prior to shipping. Once the item is produced, it will be shipped through the United States Postal Service’s 2-3 day priority mail delivery service with tracking information. Domestic U.S. shipping is $7.00 and international shipping is $15.00. Shipping fees are in addition to prices listed and are non-refundable. Once the order is shipped, you will receive an email via the address provided during payment. Rush shipping is available.

Sizing
Stylish wedding garters from The Garter Girl by Julianne Smith are made to order and thus can be sized accordingly. (This excludes garters listed in the sale section, which are already made.) The standard wedding garter will stretch to fit from 14 to 21 inches around. It is recommended that you wear your wedding garter just above the knee.
